Find the Support That Fits

Ladle of Ferns offers practical, relationship-centered support for adults whose health, disability, neurodivergence, mental health, or life circumstances can change how much capacity they have for everyday life.

You don't have to know exactly what kind of support you need before reaching out.

Start with what feels hardest right now.

How We Support You

Sometimes you need help figuring out what comes next. Sometimes you need to prepare ahead, get something done, or simply feel less alone.

Ladle's programs are built around four ways support can help: Navigate. Plan. Do. Belong.

NAVIGATE

Resource Navigation
Figure out what comes next.

When systems are complicated or you're not sure where to start, Resource Navigation gives you someone to work through it with.

Explore options, problem-solve barriers, organize next steps, and navigate complicated systems with support.

PLAN

Stability Planning
Prepare before things get harder.

Understand what supports your stability, prepare for changes in capacity, and build a flexible plan you can return to when everyday life becomes harder to manage.

DO

1:1 Virtual Body Doubling
Sometimes it's easier with someone there.

Work on the things you need or want to get done with a trained volunteer body doubling host providing supportive presence and gentle accountability.

You bring the task. We'll bring the company.

BELONG

Community Offerings
Connection counts, too.

Find low-pressure opportunities to connect, share, participate, and belong without needing to show up a certain way.

Community Gatherings are one way we're creating spaces where connection can happen with flexibility and choice.

WHAT GUIDES OUR WORK

Support Should Be...

Accessible

Cost shouldn't determine whether support is available.

Flexible

Support should adapt when capacity changes.

Practical

Help should make everyday life more manageable.

Human

People deserve relationship, dignity, and choice.

Support is normal. Community Matters. Interdependence is healthy.

PAY WHAT YOU CAN

Support begins at $0.

Ladle uses Pay-What-You-Can Pricing for participating services because cost shouldn't determine whether someone can access support.

There is no income verification or proof of financial need, and what you contribute does not change the support you receive.

Choose $0 whenever contributing would make it harder to meet your own needs.
