📚 Welcome to the Banned Book Club!
At Banned Book Club, we read and discuss titles that have been censored or challenged—books that shake things up and demand to be talked about.
Join us this February as we read The Hate U Give by Angie Thomas — a powerful, moving, and deeply relevant novel that explores race, community, activism, and the courage it takes to speak truth in the face of injustice.
Together, we’ll unpack the themes, discuss the characters’ experiences, and reflect on the real-world systems that shape the story. As always, Ladle of Ferns Banned Book Club is a welcoming, supportive space for adults (18+) to engage thoughtfully with books that have been challenged or banned across the country.
